Transwater API Sdn Bhd, Southern Region Operation (SRO) team recently received a prestigious Focused Recognition award from PRefChem for their outstanding work during the Sulphur Recovery Unit (SRU) Shutdown. This highlights their commitment to core values, including prioritising safety, delivering results, fostering collaboration, building trust, and ensuring clear communication throughout the project.
A major achievement of the shutdown was the successful installation of the SRU3 Continuous Run Test (CTR) treat control valve. To overcome these challenges, the team meticulously planned every detail, from selecting a stable flow control valve design to inspecting actuator orientation and ensuring all tools and safety measures were prepared. This comprehensive approach ensured the project was executed with precision and reliability.
The outcome was a resounding success, marked by the safe and efficient design, installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of the CRT control valve SRU FCV & XCV0402, FCV0301, and FCV0305. This achievement not only stabilised the process but also set a benchmark for excellence, reinforcing the team’s reputation for delivering impactful solutions.
